Boiler installation and replacement
We fit boilers across Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and South Birmingham, and the list below gives what each one costs fitted. Where your job is not one of the ones on that list, we price it from your photographs instead.

What every fitted price includes

- Removal and disposal of the old boiler
- A full system flush (power flush where the system needs it)
- Fitting, commissioning and Gas Safe certification
- Benchmark checklist completion and manufacturer guarantee registration
- VAT
How is this firm different from the last installer I called?
- A written price for the job before anything starts, from a list you can read on this page now.
- Our own work on your heating is covered for 12 months from the day we finish, and what that covers and what it does not is written out in full.
- The gas work is on the Gas Safe register under registration 556581, and the company is on the Companies House register under number 09765229.
What happens between my getting in touch and the work being done?
You get in touch
Call 01527 304100, or send photographs on WhatsApp to 07931 398 118. Photographs of the boiler, the flue outside and the gas meter are usually enough for us to price the job without a visit.
Tapping this opens WhatsApp and the conversation is handled there under Meta’s terms.
You get a price
If your job is one of the ones on the list above, the price beside it is the price. Where it is not, we price it from your photographs and put the figure in writing. For a price from photographs sent on WhatsApp, we come back within 2 working hours. That window is for a price from photographs. It is not a reply window for anything else you send us, and it is not a time we will be at the door.
The time shown here is an example. We have not agreed our own yet.
We do the work
Most of the work is the day itself: old boiler out, new one on, system flushed, new one commissioned. We notify the installation, and the paperwork for it comes to you rather than sitting with us.
What are the six things I would ring up to ask about this job?
Do I need a new boiler, or can this one be repaired?
A boiler is worth repairing while the parts are still made and the same fault is not coming back. Once a part is obsolete, or the same repair has come round twice, the money goes on the replacement instead. We will tell you which of the two you are looking at, and the repairs page sets out how a repair is priced.
Can I have a combi where my old tank-fed system is?
Usually, and the thing that decides it is the mains water coming into the house rather than the boiler. A combi heats water as it runs, so two showers at once will fight each other where the flow is weak. We measure the flow at the stopcock first, and the work itself is described above.
Why does my system have to be flushed before a new boiler goes on?
Old steel radiators shed iron oxide, and it collects in the narrow waterways of a new heat exchanger. The maker's own installation instructions require the system to be cleaned before the appliance is commissioned. That is why the flush is part of the work described above rather than something sold on afterwards.
What size boiler do I actually need?
The size follows the heat your house loses and the radiators on the system, not the size of the boiler coming off. An oversized boiler short-cycles, which wears it and burns more gas than it needs to. The line beside each entry above says which house it suits.
Can you move the boiler to a different room?
Often, and it changes the job rather than the boiler. The flue has to end a set distance from windows, doors and the boundary, the condensate needs a fall to a drain, and the gas run may have to be upsized. That is priced as its own job, and the price list sets out what moves the number.
How do I check you are registered to work on gas?
Anyone working on a gas appliance in a home has to be on the Gas Safe register and competent for that kind of work. Our registration number is 556581. Put that number into the register yourself and it will show you what it covers.
What paperwork do I get when the job is done?
You get the Benchmark commissioning checklist filled in, and the record of the notified gas work. Keep both of them. A maker will ask for the commissioning record, and whoever buys the house will ask for the rest.
I have read enough — what do I do now?
If you are still deciding what the job involves, take the price away and read what moves it, and we will not chase you.
Can I just send a photograph instead of describing it?
For sending photographs instead of describing the job. Tapping this opens WhatsApp and the conversation is handled there under Meta’s terms.
